DOCTORS : A BLESSING IN DISGIUSE OR A CELESTIAL CURSE

DOCTORS : A BLESSING IN DISGIUSE OR A CELESTIAL CURSE

They say that doctors are next to god and I agree thatin some cases they do give another life to a man. Then how come, I am writingit out on such a noble profession? Today, it’s not just a noble professionaanymore but a money makingmachine. The general mindset is that, if I spent X Rs to be a doctor then I shouldmake 2X Rs in a year. Then its way may be unprofessional.
I have heard a shocking case of medical negligence, where a man’s left leg has been completely amputated. A medical symptom waswrongly diagnosed to rake in extra money. But what that doctor didn’t realizethat his greed would be so fatal to take someone’s legs away. I feel bad forthat man as he’s paying up for a mistake of other.

But, I have even heard of cases where a doctor’s Midastouch has saved a persons life. Such apathy of this noble profession is mainlybecause of two reasons. The education system and the docile laws. The educationsystem along with education must implicit values and ethics of this profession.Law must make sure that, medical license must be revoked if a doctor is foundguilty of medical negligence. Thus ensuring that, we get genuine doctors.
